I hope you enjoy reading, because there's a fair bit of it: Characters: I am generally happy to play whichever character is needed most, at whichever spec is needed most however preference is as follows: Main Character (Current): Name: Djinni Class: Druid Race: Night Elf Main Spec: Feral Level: 80 Armory Link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Wildhammer&n=Djinni Other Notes: Have experience with Boomkin, and have 10man Naxx Healing gear. Alt Character: Name: Hellshorty Class: Mage Race: Gnome Main Spec: Arcane Level: 80 Armory Link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Wildhammer&n=Hellshorty Other Notes: (Well.... what can I say... my shortass brother named it) Alt Character: Name: DjinnWraith Class: Hunter Race: Night Elf Main Spec: Survival Level: 79 Armory Link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Wildhammer&n=Djinnwraith Other Notes: Have played this as my main character at T6 level Progress: TBC: Kara: Cleared ZA: Cleared Gruul: Cleared Maggy: Cleared Tempest Keep: Cleared Serpenshrine Cavern: Cleared Mount Hyjal: Cleared Black Temple: Cleared SWP: 0 WotLK: 10man: Naxx: Cleared Sartharion: Cleared (no adds) Malygos: Downed Archavon the Stone Watcher: Downed 25man: Naxx: Cleared Sartharion: Cleared (two adds although seperatly) Malygos: Downed Archavon the Stone Watcher: Downed History: I started playing WoW one night when I got bored of waiting for the new expansion in Guild Wars, Downloaded it from Direct2Drive set up my US account, and went from there, as time went by on the US servers I realised my mistake and soon being able to raid as often as I’d have liked became an issue due to the time zone differences (at this time Burning Crusade had already been released so I missed all of the TBC content. I have however been back and done some retro raiding, although not much more than the odd ZG PuG) , so I abandoned my US Survival Hunter (US-Tanaris: Djinnideamon) and gave the account to my brother, who had played with lots of characters but never levelled any of them to 70. and I moved over to EU-Thunderhorn where I started a Warrior, (having seen the lack of tanks on the US servers, I saw this as a chance to never miss another spot again) levelled up to 10, and decided that I was going to play my warrior properly and levelled all the way from 10 to 70 as Protection, I joined a number of levelling guilds along the way, none of which ever really carried me through more than a month or so, (people had life to attend to, got banned etc...) somewhere around level 60 I joined a guild called 'The Chumbucket' and started grinding instances for gear so I could fill the tank spot they had open for Kara, bought myself various items and trinkets etc... and by the night of the day I hit 70 I was defence capped with over 10k health, and ready to Main Tank Karazhan, first night we went up to Curator, it was the guilds first time in Kara for several months, and people had things to do after then. After several weeks of farming Kara up to Curator we moved on and cleared the rest of it save for Nightbane, who remained un-summon able to us for another 2 weeks. but got him down easy enough on the first try. by this point I was getting bored of Kara, and missing my Survival Hunter on the US Servers which undoubtedly had a much nicer crowd of people even if the raid progression was slow. So I hopped onto my old Guilds Ventrilo and low and behold, they were doing another run into Kara and had a spot open for a DPS, so I reinstalled my US client, downloaded all the patches, reactivated my subscription (During which time they just waited for me to log on) and cleared Kara for the first time on my US-Hunter. Now as I enjoy the company of our US friends so much more to the EU ones, I gave my account to my brother, along with my warrior. However again, although the crowd was much nicer I started to see the error of my ways, as college had started again and raids that didn’t begin until 11pm at night were becoming an issue. So I hopped back over to the EU servers, this time donating everything I had on my US account to my guild (Guardians of the Alliance) so that I wouldn’t return again. Having retrieved my account back from my brother by transferring my warrior over to his account, I decided to start again with a druid, which I first levelled up as feral till around 45 ish, at which time I decided to go balance, all the time building up a solid Restoration set (I had always had my mind set as being a healer with this druid, since I had already played as a tank and DPS), the day I hit 70 I respecced over to Restoration and starting healing raids, my first Kara run on the druid was in Sadistic (same people as 'The Chumbucket' just a more serious approach to raiding,) with 780+heal, about 200 spirit and geared in mostly blues from quests and instances etc... went on for a few months, climbed my way up to Officer starting leading the odd Kara run to get a feel for being a raid leader. By this time we had progressed into ZA but didn't have enough people to be able to take on Gruul. I had also started noticing I was doing allot more runs with people from Divine Intervention, a fairly large guild on the server at the time, (most of them had to ask each other if they were in the same guild) I now had 1800+heal and could keep up fairly well with most healers on the server, I also had the idea to try out being a boomkin and had now been building up a caster set for a while. I joined Divine Intervention and had many attempts on Void Reaver. At this point I had now lost all my in-game friends to real life, jobs had changed, rotas, school, college etc... And decided to move servers, I chose Wildhammer based on location, population and the fact that it wasn’t a PvP server (I never really had liked PvP much), I spent several days on my druid just running heroics. And exploring the new island with patch 2.4, and Joined Blades of the Alliance, it seemed a fairly ok guild from the outside. My first night raiding with them was in SSC and we spent several hours just wiping on trash, because people weren’t paying attention, eventually we downed Morogrim pretty easy, and moved onto Leothas which I thought to be great fun, although I had by now decided that BoA wasn't likely to be a guild I would stay in very long, and my second raid night in Kara proved that, people were getting kicked, replaced etc.. The entire run, for stupid things, I finished the run, and left the guild, and moved into Elysium, since then I have progressed through the ranks, getting along with people fairly well, and moving back into raid leading Kara and ZA More recently, I joined Leviathan on EU-Wildhammer, and raided up to Teron in Black Temple, switching between my Druid and Hunter as my main character, (generally because I got bored of healing EVERY RAID, and needed a change of pace). Several months down the line however close to the WotLK release, the guild experienced some 'internal problems' shall we say, which resulted in a mass walk out of many of the guild members (kudos to Atrec for managing to keep the guild alive past then, and as much as I’d like to tell you how I helped in that I can't), needless to say, I left with them, and started Synthesis with several friends I had made while in Leviathan. For some reason still unknown to me, they made me an officer (maybe its because I keep the GM's girlfriend in a good mood) where I ran many raids consisting of everything from Molten Core right through to Black Temple, PuG'ing the majority of players due to the guilds small size at the time, When WotLK came out I acted Raid leader for Group 1, achieving the guilds first Sartharion + Naxx 10man clear, (even though group 2 was better geared and lead by the GM :P, we just got called Group 1 because the GM's girlfriend was in it). That pretty much brings me up to now excepting that somewhere in all that, I changed my druid's spec to meet guild requirements a bunch of times, and switched between the Druid, Mage and Hunter dependant on 1) what the raid was short on and 2) which was already saved. I have in the past played Runescape, where I got into using a program called 'SwiftSwitch' and therefore SwiftIRC, which I became a Helpoper on, I had toyed with the idea of becoming an IRCop by linking my own server with SwiftIRC, so I have had experience of using IRC related programs, and mixed with all sorts of people and indeed run my own IRCd for several months, where I also got into website design (although I’m still not very good at it) and becoming a web space reseller. While I don't do much of that anymore (WoW has eaten up all my free time) I still have my own website and web space. College wise, I studied AS Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Computing, for my first year, and didn't quite get the grades I was after, so moved onto a National Diploma course where I studied ICT National Diploma for 2 years, I had previously looked at doing the HND course, as well as backing it up with a Cisco qualification, however decided that going straight into Uni better suited me in the long term, and now study Computer Network Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University. What I expect from a guild: Regular pre-planned raids, a solid mature and stable enviroment with other players who are helpful and forthcomming in-order to further progress themselves and therefore the guild they are in through the game. Lastly RESPECT; no one gets anywhere without a little respect for themselves and each other.
